Marcel Bischoff 

Marcel Bischoff, Mimecast Principal ML Engineer, has over a decade of experience spanning mathematical physics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. His areas of focus include developing advanced machine learning models and AI systems. Prior to moving to the industry, he held a prominent career in academia as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics and NSF principal investigator at Ohio University, and as a postdoctoral researcher at Vanderbilt University under Fields Medalist Vaughan Jones. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He is based in Columbus, Ohio.
