Computable.nl: Mimecast warns companies about brand abuse by cybercriminals

Cybercriminals widely abuse well-known brands to defraud businesses and consumers. That is what Mimecast concludes after research. In 2020, the security specialist detected an average of 27 million emails per month in which a brand is impersonated. This is an increase of no less than 44 percent compared to 2019.
