At Mimecast, we are committed to environmental resilience and have taken significant steps to reduce our collective footprint.
We’ve installed solar arrays at multiple office locations, use 100% renewable energy to power many of our data centers and offices, and eliminated all single-use paper and plastic in our office kitchens. We’ve also created incentives for green commuting such as efficient vehicle charging stations and parking.
We recognize that we can’t solve our planet’s problems alone, but we can and will do our part while setting an example for others.
Our commitment to our communities starts with our 1,800 passionate, purpose-driven Mimecasters. All employees are given five days of paid time off to volunteer with any organization that they feel passionately about. Last year, our employees volunteered more than 1,000 hours in the community worldwide.
Our employees also take advantage of our generous matching gift program and recurring team volunteer opportunities throughout the year.
Through our dedicated philanthropic fund, Mimecast partners with nonprofits around the world to create and support resilient communities.
We focus on underrepresented populations in the communities where we live and work, with an emphasis on elevating opportunities for young people.
From underserved youth in the townships of South Africa to young urban adults entering the tech industry in Boston, we strive to instill resilience in all the communities where Mimecasters live and work.

We’ve faced down adversity before, which is why we remain steadfast amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. While we don’t know how long this crisis may last, we know that we’ll do all that we can to always invest in our people, our customers, and our community. We always have been – and always will be – resilient together.
To support our employees and enable them to thrive, we provide extensive health and wellness offerings, open participation in all employee resource groups (ERGs), extensive professional development opportunities, and a truly inclusive work environment.
By investing in one another, we can bring a resilient spirit together and truly live the Mimecast Way every day. If you’d like to become a Mimecaster, be sure to check out our careers pagevisit our careers page
