Michael Rowinski

Michael Rowinski leads Mimecast's global communications and brand strategy, shaping the company's point of view on human risk management, cybersecurity regulation, AI governance, and the human factors driving modern cyber risk. His remit spans executive visibility, media relations, long-form content, and policy-focused storytelling as Mimecast deepens its leadership in human-centric security.

Michael brings more than two decades of experience in technology and cybersecurity communications. At IBM, he held executive roles across the Security and Infrastructure businesses, where he built and led threat intelligence content programs around IBM's X-Force research, translating complex threat data into narratives that earned global recognition and strengthened customer confidence. He also led communications response during major cybersecurity incidents, giving him a practitioner's understanding of how threats evolve and how organizations respond under pressure.
