Alison Raymond Walsh has a background in public relations, marketing and communications. She joined Mimecast as the Senior Manager of Public Relations in October 2016 where she is responsible for overseeing the global PR campaigns and managing agencies in both the US and Australia. In 2019 she become Director of Global PR and Social Media. Alison has helped raise the profile of Mimecast and Mimecast executives, resulting in local and national coverage in CNBC’s Mad Money with Jim Cramer, Forbes, Harvard Business Review, FOX25 News & NECN, to name a few. Prior to Mimecast, she was the PR Specialist at RSA in Bedford, MA. Alison was responsible for rapid response, as well as PR activities focused around RSA’s channel program and products. Before RSA, she worked at Matter Communications in Newburyport, MA where she supervised and developed account programs, content development, managed account staff activities and outreached to key media, analysts and bloggers. She started her career in public relations at Topaz Partners, where she was responsible for not only supervising account programs, but also blogging, podcasting and overseeing Topaz Partner’s Buzz Media Online Communications (BMOC) Program which helped clients with any social media-related strategies and addressed any questions or concerns.
