    Still, many of us are careless online, according to a study by security firm Mimecast.

    18 percent answer that they consider it likely or very likely that they will have their identity stolen. Similarly, 21 percent estimate that they are likely to fall victim to credit card fraud.

    "The figures clearly indicate that cybercrime has become part of our everyday lives, and the consequences can be extensive," says Niels Frederiksen, an expert in Mimecast.
