Get Managed URL

Description

This endpoint can be used to return all entries currently in an accounts Managed URL list. Optional filtering fields can also be used to return a specific URL, or set of URLs.

Note: Each account has a maximum URL entry limit. To get more information on your accounts current limit, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager, or your regional Customer Success Desk.

Pre-requisites

  • In order to successfully use this endpoint the logged in user must be a Mimecast administrator with at least the Services | Targeted Threat Protection - URL Protect | Edit permission.

To use this endpoint you send a POST request to:

  • /api/ttp/url/get-all-managed-urls

x-mc-req-id

A randomly generated GUID, for example,

x-mc-app-id The Application ID provided with your Registered API Application.
x-mc-date

The current date and time in the following format, for example,

exactMatch Boolean Optional If true, the domainOrUrl value to act as an exact match value. If false, any partial matches will be returned. Default value is false

id String The Mimecast secure ID of the managed URL
scheme String The protocol to apply for the managed URL (e.g. http or https)
domain String The managed domain of the entry, including the domain for an exact URL entry
port Number The specified in the managed URL. Default value is -1 if no port was provided
path String The resource path of the managed URL. Note: this will be present only when the matchType is explicit
queryString String The query string of the managed URL. Note: this will be present only when the matchType is explicit
matchType String The type of URL to match against. Possible options are: "explicit" for full URLs, "domain" for only domains
action String Action to take for when URL is clicked. Possible values are: block, permit
comment String The comment provided when creating the managed URL entry
disableUserAwareness String Prevents User Awareness screens from being presented to users for the URL when clicked
disableRewrite String Prevents the rewrite of the managed URL
disableLogClick String Disables logging of clicks for this managed URL

Sample Code

Sample code is provided to demonstrate how to use the API and is not representative of a production application. To use the sample code; complete the required variables as described, populate the desired values in the request body, and execute in your favorite IDE.  Please see the Global Base URL's page to find the correct base URL to use for your account.
