Mimecast Named a Leader in EIA Magic Quadrant for 3rd Year in a Row.

As data grows, compliance challenges evolve and organizations demand more value from their data, the importance, and use of enterprise information archiving (EIA) technology is pervasive throughout business operations.   Each year, organizations look to Gartner for a comprehensive evaluation of products and services that provide archiving for email, files, and other content types. At Mimecast, we’re thrilled to say that we’ve been named a Leader in the Gartner EIA Magic Quadrant for the third consecutive year. We believe that is some serious staying power and strong validation for us in a competitive market that continues to consolidate and shift.

Our vision as a company has always been to integrate multipurpose archiving with security and continuity.  We believe Gartner has recognized us for our integrated platform and our ability to offer a comprehensive set of capabilities to reduce overall information risk.  As one of the longest-running large‐scale cloud operations in the world, we’ve spent years working to make corporate data valuable and accessible to each person and function across the organization.

We know the problems with legacy archive solutions.  From administrative complexity, lack of scalability, and slow search performance, there are significant roadblocks to getting the most from a “perfect world” archive. Alternatively, Mimecast Cloud Archive is designed and optimized for the cloud, offering the scale, performance and advanced features needed to manage information today. We’re dusting off the old, on‐premises, IT-focused archives and looking at your challenges in a more forward‐thinking way.  This means moving beyond simply managing storage or playing defense in compliance driven solutions and, instead, turning the archive into a digital memory to bring greater business value and smarter decision making.

This is the future of archiving, and we’re taking the lead.  From the CEO to the new hire, and everyone in between, modern workers want seamless access to their information to bring better productivity.  In a world of slow, antiquated archives, Mimecast offers the industry’s fastest search performance to provide deep insight employees can act on in real time. Anytime, anywhere and on any connected device.  Robust compliance, strong e-discovery, and case review features, and industry-leading data resiliency are key components of the Mimecast strategy and are vital for today’s business.

In the year to come, you'll see Mimecast continuing to push the envelope on unlocking access to data, and helping customers harness the business value of the information they're already managing. The market is embracing this vision and we know you will too.  As a company, we are 100 percent committed to delivering on our vision and execution to build the highest performing, cost‐optimized and risk‐adverse solutions for our customers. Coming off the largest archive launch event in company history, our leadership team is in place to tirelessly out‐innovate the competition and take the Mimecast Cloud Archive to the next level.  But don’t just take it from us, read the 2017 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Information Archiving to gain insight into what makes a leader. Now is the time to achieve your perfect world archive.
