Mark’s mission at Mimecast is putting customers first. That’s why he is focused on leading the outside-in approach to customer success and satisfaction. Mark has been with Mimecast since the beginning; he was employee number three. Since 2005, his roles have spanned virtually every functional group, including both Vice President of Sales and General Manager of the U.S. business. Through this experience, Mark has developed a deep understanding of the customer journey.

Prior to joining Mimecast, Mark completed a Ph.D. in African History at St. John's College, Cambridge; worked for the British Library on their Oral History of the Wine Trade in the UK initiative; and worked for McKinsey & Co in London as part of their world-renowned Research & Information team.

Mark lives in New England with his family and enjoys being outdoors in Maine during most weekends.
