An article by Michael Grebb on Bank Technology News reports that financial institutions are struggling to meet demand for compliance staff that understand the ever increasing amount of compliance legislation and how to interpret it.

While the article is aimed at a US audience, increasing compliance legislation mandated by Europe, such as MiFID and the 8th Company Law Directive (EuroSOX), will see an increased demand in compliance skills in the United Kingdom.

I recently contacted Firebrand training about getting on their EuroSOX bootcamp only to find out that it was fully booked for a good few months as we approach the 28 June deadline for compliance.
