Peter is a technology marketer and business leader with a successful track record and solid experience in starting, growing and leading flourishing businesses in the information technology sector.

Previously Managing Director of Idion Solutions, a gold-certified Microsoft partner in Cape Town, Peter’s first technology venture, FAB Technologies (Pty) Ltd, was strategically acquired by Idion Technology Holdings in 1998 to provide significant skills, intellectual capital and proprietary software. Fab Technologies, itself a leading Microsoft-certified solution provider and application developer, focused on web and workflow business solutions.

Hailing from South Africa originally, Peter moved to the UK to take advantage of the growing trends towards internet business services.

Neil is a leading innovator in the SaaS industry, with over 20 years experience architecting and building leading software products for Internet banking, messaging and rapid application development.

Previously, Neil was the CTO of South African, JSE-listed, Global Technology, a provider of business information solutions, which had bought Pro-Solutions, a software development company Neil helped found in the early 90’s.

Neil’s SaaS experience has precipitated from work on hosted application management through the last 2 decades, starting with data bureau services in the 80’s, migrating through web based application service provision in the 90’s and, more recently, the creation of dedicated SaaS utility grid solutions for Mimecast. 

Now settled in the UK, Neil’s responsibilities at Mimecast include the overall technical vision and strategy for the service, the architecture of the Mimecast service platform and leading the development team.

Peter previously worked as CFO for SR Telecom Inc a Nasdaq listed company. His role covered worldwide operations overseeing functions including mergers & acquisitions, operations and financial reporting. 

Prior to this Peter was the Corporate Controller at LMS Medical Systems Inc. and also worked with Ernst & Young LLP, Assurance and Advisory Services from 1998-2002 in the High-technology group in Montreal.

Graduating with both a Bachelor of Commerce and Graduate Diploma in Accountancy from Concordia University, Peter holds a Chartered Accountant Designation with the Canadian Order of Chartered Accountants, and is a Certified Public Accountant in conjunction with the University of Illinois.

Tim is an experienced networking and security industry expert who joined Mimecast from RSA Security where he held the position of Area Vice President, International Marketing. Prior to RSA he was Business Development Director for networking company 3Com.

He is a forward thinking marketing leader with a track record of high performance in corporate strategy, marketing, sales channels and communications. In his position at Mimecast Tim plays a pivotal role in guiding Mimecast to attain its strategic goals and build on the success of the company, which has achieved a growth rate on 300% year on year, since its launch in 2003.

Previous to joining mimecast Keith was the Director of International Operations at Truphone where he led the international roll-out of this Mobile Internet Network Operator (MINO). Keith has a background in business strategy and management.

Over the past 10 years his focus has been primarily in the TMT area (Technology Media and Telecommunications) working with software development companies such as Microsoft and Telecommunications providers such as the MTN Group which owns and operates fixed and mobile telephony businesses in 21 markets in Africa and the Middle East: Here Keith drove business strategy, incubation and Research and Development.

Previously Keith has consulted in the Telecommunications and Banking sectors on new technologies and their adoption in consumer markets. Keith was the Marketing Director of africam.com from 1998-2001, an internet based broadcast business specialising in live wildlife content that built significant audience support. From 1991- 1998 Keith consulted to a range of global brands assisting with business, marketing and media strategy.

Jonathan brings with him a wealth of relevant experience acquired in a career working in rapidly expanding businesses in the technology, consulting and SaaS sectors.

Jonathan’s role at Mimecast is to build out the Product Management & Product Marketing functions globally, whilst working with the rest of the corporate team to ensure that Mimecast continues to deliver an innovative and relevant product roadmap, maintaining and growing its competitive advantages based on its market leading technology platform.  He will also be working on Mimecast’s go-to-market strategy to ensure that the company’s prodigious growth continues as it enters new markets and competes against some of the world’s biggest technology companies.

Prior to joining Mimecast Jonathan spent 8 years at MessageLabs where he held senior management positions contributing to the growth of the business from start-up all the way through to its acquisition by Symantec at the end of 2008.
